Session Description: For many young professionals, entering the workplace can feel like stepping into a story where everyone else already knows the script. In an effort to prove they belong, early-career employees may over-filter themselves, rely on corporate jargon, or hide behind those around them to appear more credible and experienced, or disappear entirely. This session explores how fear, imposter syndrome, and traditional ideas of professionalism can unintentionally silence emerging talent; and how authenticity, clarity, and human connection can become powerful leadership strengths instead. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to engage in more authentic communication, empower early-career professionals, and create workplace cultures where fresh perspectives help shape the future story of work.
