SUMMARY:YPG Lunch and Learn: Keeping your cup full and preventing burnout with Kyah Spriggs
DESCRIPTION:Young professionals are often taught how to succeed but rarely how to sustain themselves while doing it. This engaging Lunch & Learn will focus on prioritizing mental health\, practicing realistic self-care\, and learning how to keep your "cup full" without guilt or burnout. Participants will explore how stress and overcommitment quietly drain energy and discover simple\, practical strategies to refill their mental and emotional reserves.\n\nAttendees will leave with tools to set healthier boundaries\, recognize early signs of burnout\, and build daily habits that support both wellbeing and professional success.\n\n\n\nAbout Kyah:\n\nKyah Spriggs is a nationally recognized mental health advocate\, motivational speaker\, and facilitator dedicated to helping individuals and communities rise above life's hardest moments. After navigating her own journey of healing and personal growth\, Kyah committed her life to living with purpose and helping others do the same.\n\nShe is the founder of Six Feet Above\, a movement and nonprofit initiative focused on mental health awareness\, resilience\, and community connection. Through this work\, Kyah creates safe spaces for honest conversations and equips people with practical tools to support their well-being. She also launched the annual Six Feet Above Mental Health and Wellness Festival\, a free community event that brings hundreds of people together each year in Central Louisiana to connect with resources\, celebrate self-care\, and break stigma.\n\nAs a facilitator and trainer\, Kyah has worked with more than 20\,000 teachers\, students\, law enforcement officers\, military personnel\, mental health professionals\, and community members nationwide. Her trainings and workshops focus on resilience\, burnout prevention\, life skills\, goal setting\, and purpose-driven living empowering people of all ages to navigate challenges with confidence and compassion.\n\nKyah's work has earned her multiple honors\, including being named the 2026 Remarkable Women of Central Louisiana by Nexstar Media Group and the CW Network\, the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority\, Inc. Finer Womanhood Award\, and a nomination for the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce 4 Under 40.\n\nKnown for blending storytelling\, humor\, faith\, and practical strategies\, Kyah inspires audiences to embrace growth\, rediscover hope\, and live with intention. Her mission is simple but powerful: to help people remember that their story matters and that a life filled with purpose\, resilience\, and hope is always possible.
